Festivities start at 2:00 and the walk starts at 2:30
Bring your family and walk your pooches on PSTCC’s 1.1 mile paved walking loop that meanders around a beautiful lake while learning about “War Dogs” and our plans to honor them! Your registration fee covers your dog (humans walk for free!) and includes a dog event bandanna, Human shirts are available at an additional cost!
This year’s Grand Marshall is Marine Corps War Dog Sgt Rush, who has served six tours in Iraq and Afghanistan. There will be several local celebrities walking dogs as well! B97.5 Radio and BUZZBEE will be broadcasting on-site during the event! Young Williams will be on site with ADOPTABLE DOGS! They will also be offering discounted vaccinations and microchipping!
PELLISSIPPI STATE’S STUDENT VETERANS CLUB THE PELLISSIPPI PATRIOTS WILL HAVE SWEET P’s BBQ SANDWICHES WITH MAC N CHEESE AND BANANA PUDDING FOR SALE AS A FUNDRAISER!
