VHSF Members and some of our regular Volunteers participated in the annual Wreath Across America wrath laying event today. VHSF had representation at all three Veteran Cemeteries where. This event is an overwhelmingly rewarding experience and encourage everyone to to join us next year! From Knox Wreaths Facebook Page:
“Another Wreaths Across America placing of the wreaths in the books. Each year holds new challenge and when you have no budget you do the best you can with what you are given (volunteers). Where would this event be if not for our veterans, many of which volunteered, putting their lives on hold to answer the call. Probably 85% of the volunteers today were veterans. Veterans taking care of veterans! I did not get as many pictures as I would have liked so if you have pictures from any of the cemeteries please post here or send to me so I can post them. I will snag some from others that I am friends with. Enjoy the experience as we Honor, Teach, and Remember.”
