On Saturday April 27, 2024, VHSF will host the 6th annual Veterans Heritage Ridge Run on Sharps Ridge. This event includes the choice between a 1 mile fun walk, a 5K Trail Run or a 10K Ruck Sack Run. The Ridge Run is a fundraiser with proceeds supporting the construction and upkeep of Sharps Ridge Veterans Memorial Park. The course is made up of well-marked trails through largely wooded and hilled terrain.
